CHEAP VS BRANDED

Lets talk about what Branded really means and what is cheap?  There are people who just want cheap stuff. I admit I was one of them. I use to buy my makeup & personal care in the DOLLAR stores! But years ago I was the accounting manager for a personal care manufacturer and we would sell to Big Lots & Dollar stores everywhere. You know what we sold them? All the expired crap we didn't sell to other stores. We were already a low end manufacturer, those CHEAP stores would actually call us wanting to buy the expired stuff because they knew they can get it CHEAPER. Wow talk about reality check. Don't buy your stuff in outlet or dollar stores!
You don't know what you don't know and you don't know that you don't know that you don't know!
Ok, so when someone says something like "Oh yea I know about your makeup they just put the name on it and pump up the price" Uh I don't think so. Knowledge is Power you must obtain it then use it! I know that my makeup is high quality because I have been EDUCATED on the quality we do not hide anything! 

I'm not a makeup artist or beauty pro but I am now an EDUCATED consumer. I was VERY frugal I have been changing my ways because I see & feel what quality is. There is a HUGE difference on MY product as oppose to YOUR NAME makeup! How do I know because I took the time to evaluate it & educate myself on what I am promoting! Don't insult my intelligence,  I have trained with MY product line numerous times to know that my packaging looks similar but whats inside is totally HIGH quality and YOUR NAME makeup or Dollar store makeup is not the same stuff. I use to have drawers & drawers of crappy product that for some reason I would buy it but wouldn't really use because, I don't know I really didn't like it. And I will admit that when I first tried My makeup 4 years ago I really didn't like it. But when my fearless leader revamped it put her name behind it and she presented & promised that is was the BEST makeup you can get for your dollar in front of 25k people I knew that MY  makeup was different. So I tried it again. And it was AMAZING. I became a junky, I'm a user. For real I'm not in the beauty industry at all. But knowing what I know about quality ingredients. My makeup is all mineral based, enriched with antioxidants, vitamin c & e, SPF 15 micro pulverized powders, non comedogenic, fragrance free bla, bla, bla. I love doing my MAKEUP & Caring for my skin with My BRANDED product.

Now lets say you pay a beauty professional to come and do your makeup for a fee! They show up with a box full of CHEAP mix matched stuff that you know they got it at some outlet store, then they want to put that stuff on your face &  you are going to pay a FEE for it! Ugh! As oppose to a Beauty Professional that comes with a cosmetic line & skincare line that is BRANDED and you the client recognize the BRAND because you ARE an EDUCATED CONSUMER ;)

I have a mature business partner who just started her beauty business with me last year and she has built a solid clientele of very HIGH end customers who continue to purchase from her repeatedly because they love the product its priced right and it works! She gets paid for her Professional SERVICE & makes a PROFIT! She is a professional about BRANDING herself and her business. Branding cost allot but do it wisely and do with someone that already has a great track record.So you can focus on your Business.

Do you see what BRANDING is? Its not just slapping a label on some lower end product and saying its better.We have to show the results. I know MY product is high quality because I see and feel a difference my skin looks better now that I'm 40 than when I was in my 20s buying & using  CHEAP Dollar & outlet stuff. How embarrassing to admit that!
