Local business seminar Saturday October 19

Miami its this Saturday already the MA-Shop.com local business seminar with my best friend and super celebrity Carlos Marrero. Its no secret that I absolutely adore & admire Carlos Marrero. I am his #1 biggest cheerleader. For those who don't know him, Carlos Marrero is the most absolutely fabulous person I know in this business! Carlos Marrero is a successful fashion illustrator who is so fashionable, funny, talented, artsy & so cute! Its like having my own Ricky Martin! 

Carlos has won the most hardest business building challenges like over 100 times in a row! Ok I lost count after he hit 5 in a row. He has always wowed me. He always has Motiv-ated me way before he decided to mayor in Motives. I remember like it was yesterday when he called me to ask me "Annette what do you think if I mayor in Motives? " I couldn't believe he asked me that! I said "OMG Carlos of course you should mayor in Motives you are an artist & you are so fashionable, cool and amazing" well like a said I Am Carlos's number #1 cheerleader! He is my mentor! 

I was truly honored that The Carlos Marrero would ask me for guidance wow! Carlos became Motives trainer of the Year in less than 6 months! I was shocked...no I wasn't! No matter what training he does he totally rocks the house! He is just so real..If you are serious about building this business you need to be there.

Carlos Marrero hands down is the best trainer this company has and to train with him not even 45 minutes away is truly priceless. So lets carpool don't miss it!  

The International Convention

All year long I think about my company convention. It’s so exciting because it’s a huge event over 20,000 people come from all over the world for this event. It’s like a 3 day concert so full of energy, tons of business information & some cool celebrities. They set up fun party nights also it is a blast. Every year we have one in Miami & one in Greensboro. Where is Greensboro? I know, that’s what I said when I first heard about it. Greensboro is in North Carolina. The reason they do it there is because that’s where this Big idea started in a little house in Greensboro North Carolina now it’s a huge billion dollar company. The International Convention is coming up now on August 8-10 in Greensboro North Carolina. I was considering not going this year because of the cost involved. But just last week I committed to doing some basic fundamentals I have in my unfranchise business plan, in those little basic things we should be doing in order to build this business, we need to listen to our business training audios, perfect for when you’re working out... After my boot camp I power-walk for about another hour & a half. Just last week Friday I was listening to my training & there it was the message…..The message was very clear. Convention is coming up & successful people in this business do Not miss these events. Then I get home & I see my mentor & best friend Carlos Marrero Motives trainer & multiple Presidents Challenge winner, he is just so freaking amazing! He is all over my FB & email & is on the MA blog talking about convention & how important it is to be there! It hit me again!

My family is stressing me out about an August vacation so I was debating about not going to the convention because August 12 is my birthday then August 21 is my grandsons & school starts so early in Miami, August 19 ugh. I was trying to see how to do 2 trips in August, So then it hit me again. I will have to sacrifice! I cannot afford not to go to International Convention. I am a Leader, how can I keep wanting to be successful & not go to my business convention? That’s what I asked myself. It’s like wanting to be a doctor & not showing up to med school! I would be setting myself up for failure if I don’t go. So that was it, I made up my mind & decided I gotta do whatever I gotta do to make it to this event. Flying into Greensboro is out of the question, because convention is just weeks away & this is a huge event so flights are sold out or if not they cost an arm & a leg. This event pumps over 20 million dollars into the Greensboro economy in less than one week, wow…. so I’m looking to fly into another nearby city rent a car & drive the rest of the way. I don’t know if anyone else is coming with me but once I get the details out I know I will get some of my business partners that also either waited for the last minute to Make up their mind to be successful or I will find 2 new GONOW business partners in the next 10 days that make up their mind to be successful too & we can split the car & hotel that always happens ;)

It’s really going to be a sacrifice but I cannot afford to let another year go by & not take my business to the next level so I’m sacrificing & I’m going! My family may get upset but it is what it is. I have to do this! So either we will have to go a quick vacation before August 7 or it’s going to have to be after August 11. Here I come International Convention 2013 let’s do this!!

Networking

Everything we do is through networking.  Whether you are looking for a J-O-B, offering a service or building a business pretty much everything involves networking. I’m always invited to networking events, I don’t really go to too many but just yesterday I went to a networking event that I was invited to. I am so glad I went, it was a full house. So many great things I learned & great things will happen because of this One networking event. First, let me start with the company that invited me to the event. I found this company back in May through craigslist. Through this company I was able to promote my Motives business with my own booth at the Miami Beach Beauty Show this past May. Best of all I didn’t pay $1000 for the booth I paid a $60 for a transaction fee thanks to the United Chamber Exchange. Cool huh? I got an instant credit line of what is called trade dollars & I paid for my booth with trade dollars.  When I first heard the idea I couldn’t believe it but sure enough it was legit I got my booth & participated in the show. So now I’m a member to the United Chamber Exchange & I get these perks. They just opened up an office in North Miami & they hosted this networking event just to expose their services and open up to the community about trading. I know it’s a little confusing but I think the idea is ingenious, I love it! I keep saying to myself that this is better than the lottery ;). The offices are fantastic it’s a great location with that warehouse midtown look, concrete floors, great space with an art gallery feel. I loved the place & the girls I invited also were impressed with the place.

The event was already going great, then I ran into a friend I haven’t seen or heard of in over 20 years! The last time I saw her I was 19....that was a LONG time ago. Can you believe it??? OMG it was like a Kodak moment. She recognized me I would of never recognized her I thought she would of been still 15. I’m soo excited that I found her just like that. Just the other day I thought about her & wondered wow whatever happened to that little girl Anacelis. Anacelis is a grown woman just like me I was shocked. Isn’t that funny to run into someone after so many years & too see that they too got older lol. Duh right I’m such a dummy of course everything is happening simultaneously. Anyway the moral of the story is really that networking is fantastic. I’m so excited about the United Chamber Exchange membership because I believe that this network of business people is really going to boost my business & I ran into a long lost friend that I will be hanging out with this weekend so we can talk about soooo many things. So networking is really important!

Learn & Earn

Did you know that most businesses fail within the first 10 years?  Most businesses barely break even in the first 5 years. When I heard those statistics I was so glad that I started my Unfranchise home based business instead. Any business can be tough the first few years. But if you are not ready for overhead, working countless hours & pouring thousands maybe hundreds of thousands of dollars into a traditional business then I suggest you take a look at what my business can offer you. 

There are many different home based opportunities out there for people to get started with little money but don’t offer the affordable education or the full diverse package that my business offers.  My business is so diversified that there is something for everyone. People sometimes think that my business is for woman ha-ha! Not here! We do NOT discrimanate here anyone has the freedom to choose what you want from your business. I believe because my business offers such great training is why I am such a believer. When I purchased my franchise I started with a group of about 10-15 people so we had some momentum going on and my senior partner got us trained immediately! That training was proof to me that I made the right decision because I learned a lot about my business very early on.  After my first business disappointment I went into hiding for maybe almost a year J and then one day made up my mind to get more education to find out what route I wanted to take my business. Now if I had a traditional business paying huge overhead, employees, inventory etc. this knowledge searching would probably be where my traditional business would fail, but because I have a home based business that is so REALISTIC I managed to keep my business a float while I went to the MA University and see what I wanted to specialize in. At the MA University you can learn anything from wellness, skincare, makeup, weight management, anti-aging, financial services, website sales, or if you are looking for an MBA with MA you can take our Upper Level Trainings that are conducted on a beautiful luxurious yacht from Miami or New York. I am very looking forward to taking that training with a group of at least 30 of my MASTER MIND TEAM very very soon ;)

Being that I LOVE Money I quickly saw the huge opportunity in studying the nutraMetrix division which is a division dedicated to health professionals.  Certified consultants can help establish wellness programs that help health professionals tap into the wellness industry and create additional income while also promoting wellness into their practices. I traveled to Indianapolis took an intensive 3 day course came back to Miami drew an action plan and fast forward I hit the wall- I didn’t like that route at all! That’s where if you had a traditional business if you didn’t close down with the 1^st downfall you probably would now. Again because my business is so REALISTIC you can still save your business and find out what you really want to do with this business.  Just as I was searching through my diversified divisions my mentor Loren decided to revamp her Motive ;) and saved my life! Loren helped me Just Makeup My Life ;)

I fell in love with motives! I went back to the MA University and majored in Motives. I have taken these classes over 15 times I am a remedial student & still am! I learn something new in every class & it’s the same class!

Any division you decide to specialize in you can Learn & Earn. How you say? Well you have products that you are learning why people want them, why they are hot in the market, why they are better than competitors & priced below them. With the power of the Internet & the power of such an incredible pay structure you can sell them & earn money lots of money when done the Unfranchise way.  It’s not that difficult really. We have a plan & it works when you follow it!

The bottom line is individuals are looking to be in business for themselves. But the traditional business will cost more, will demand more & you still got to do it. So what’s the difference here?

I am an Entrepreneur

Yes I am, this is sooo true! I love this statement! Being an Entrepreneur is great, but I admit it’s not easy, even painful at times. Especially when you don’t know where to begin. For me I always knew I was meant for something great. So I was always looking for something.  So it was no coincidence when I stumbled AGAIN onto this opportunity. I remember like it was yesterday seeing the business plan (in Spanish!)And thinking to myself “where do I sign, I’m in”? I remember I didn’t even have the money to get started but I found it! I remember leaving the presentation that day and day-dreaming about my future. I was so excited. We were driving through Coral Gables the wealthy part of Miami and I remember before that day when I passed through that area I used to feel kind of down, but that day it was different. I was feeling soooooo gooood that day because that day I felt that I was on my way to being very successful.  I was just exposed to my future to the fact that anything is possible and I believed it!  I refused to work for money again. I changed a lot of things in my mind and the journey began. My mind has gone into overtime creating ideas how to make it as an entrepreneur. I thank the universe for this amazing business. There are countless ways to make money with my business. Where you will never have to work for money again. You follow a proven system that will GENERATE you money even when you are not working. But WAIT it is not an overnight success and does require coaching, training, disappointments, and obstacles! But if you are willing to take some steps then you too can be an entrepreneur. Yes I admit I am nowhere near where I am SUPPOSED to be but I am working it and I FEEL it like I have never felt anything else I can taste it! I prepare each day with the intention of finding other TRUE Entrepreneurs that are ready to make this happen! Sometimes I find them and they KNOW they are meant for this harmonious blend and other times I have to show them their true GIFT and reassure them that they can do it if they BELIEVE they can, and other times its just PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. But no matter what every day I become more successful in every way because I am doing what I need to do, preparing myself for my success that I KNOW I will achieve no matter what!
