Fit Fun & Fabulous 3 Night Royal Caribbean cruise

Have you been on a cruise lately?  
I love cruising ;)
Thanks to my friend Diane Superville of Whet Travel I was able to coordinate a 3 Night Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas and the best part I get to bring my trainer to workout! Is that awesome or what?! Whats even better anyone who reserves those dates will get this great price and you can workout with my trainer weather you train with "Get Pumped" or not. That means you get to party all night and the next morning...... but only if you want to get rid of those evil toxic devils from the night before you can come out to the deck or wherever "Mommy Dearest" Beth decides to workout and you can exercise those evil toxins away. I love it! I'm so excited ;) Its going to be a blast!
And if that wasn't enough we will also have a makeup workshop on Saturday for those who want to learn a quick cruise look for the night with award winning Motives cosmetics on board.

Saturday mornings Get Pumped boot camp

Week two of the Get 
 
Saturday 8am Miami Tropical Park boot camp.



For those who have missed it I have been talking about my trainer Beth Yannucci of Get Pumped Miami Tropical Park weekly boot camp. Many people have been asking Beth to start a Saturday morning boot camp class for those who want more like me ;) & for those who cant make it to her Monday Wednesday Friday 8AM class. 
Last week Saturday September 7, was the first Saturday of 
Get Pumped 8AM Tropical Park boot camp.
I was so excited about the 1st Saturday, I didn't even need an alarm to wake up I was restless all night, but when I woke up I was a little worried because it was drizzling. I texted Beth & she confirmed camp was still on. I was late but there she was drizzle and all working out. She is so committed! It was a small group last week, I guess the rain kept everyone in bed. 
Wow what a workout! 
This past Saturday was the 2nd week, a beautiful Saturday Miami hot morning for an outdoor workout. I was late again this Saturday, but I still made it. I was sore from the day before of a crazy little fender bender I had. I was hit by a car on my bike in the morning on my way to boot camp, can you beleive it?! I'm OK really I just got back up dusted off the dirt & rocks reassured the little old lady that really I was OK, jumped back on my bike & rode off to make it to my Friday morning boot camp. So if I can make it then anyone can so this Saturday 8AM on the hill

My Mongoose

Just a couple of weeks ago I was thinking of a way to pump up my daily workout. I thought about rollerblading because I have a pair in the closet. Then I thought that was a bad idea because I really don't know how to roller blade & that's probably why they are sitting in the closet collecting dust. Also rollerblading all the way to Tropical park before & after boot camp is out of the question. I will probably need an ambulance instead. Then I thought, if I only had a bike. I called Carlos my boo and asked him if he would get me a bike. He said he will see what he can do & call me back. Within an hour he calls me back & says "I got you a bike" I screamed with happiness & was excited the rest of the day waiting to see my bike. Later that night I got home & my bike was already home & to my surprise it was a Mongoose. I don't know much about bikes but I had heard that Mongoose is a good bike for beginners, & no he didn't go out & buy me a brand new Mongoose, one of his employees just happen to have the bike that he was not using anymore so he sold it ;) OMG I am so excited with my bike! My dreams are coming true. On my dream board I have pictures of being fit & riding bike. I have always wanted to be one of those annoying triathlon bikers that take up the whole street & they are up on the weekends by 6:00 am riding into the sunrise. But I don't think I'm going to do any of the triathlon-ing yet, I nearly ate the concrete the first couple of times I rode. The last time I was a regular rider was in Chicago when I was 13. That was a long time ago, so none the less I have some getting use to.
I'm still trying to get the hang of it but my mongoose is really going to get me on the fitness track that I have been looking for. I have only had it for a little over 2 weeks & it has been raining allot so I haven't been able to ride my minimum of 3 times a week consistently. But when I can I ride from home in Kendall to Tropical Park in the morning. It takes me an hour, according to google maps its less than 10 miles. Then I do my boot camp class for an hour and a half then I ride back home 10 miles another hour. Wow what a workout! Feel the burn baby! My legs are on fire! Of course the results are amazing.

No pain no gain!

Wow, what a workout at boot camp today! I got there at 7:54am which is kind of late for me because I normally get there by 7:20am & I get to chat with Beth. Although we don't start til 8am this morning when I got there Beth my favorite trainer in the world is Pumped up shouting "you're late, today's workout will make you think of me all weekend long, hurry up set up a box, band, dumbbells & meet me at the bleachers you got 2 minutes lets go!!" I just love her so! I call her my mommy dearest ;) I love the bleachers! There is nothing like a hot summer July Miami morning before 8am to workout at the bleachers!
I really was excited about the bleachers because I knew it was going to be an awesome workout! Just this past week I have been going through my facebook account & seen tons of old fat pictures of me & I wanted to scream & cry! I am totally freaking out how many fat pictures of me are everywhere!! I had a small family meeting with my girls & demanded to know why didn't they tell me I was so fat!? Nikole my young one says "mom I was telling you all the time" Semyra the older one she is a bit nicer she says "Oh mom but it only looked bad in the pictures you really didn't look that fat in person" Oh thanks! OMG Ugh I'm so embarrassed that I was so big! What was I thinking!!??? I cant do anything now the damage is done now the Internet is full of these fat pictures all I can do is get into shape & get new pictures out ASAP! I'm not looking to be skinny I'm not a skinny person but I do want to get ride of this excess jiggles because I just don't feel comfortable. No wonder I was such a lazy _$$ I had an extra person growing on me! I cant be promoting beauty & wellness if I don't feel good about myself! 
So yes the bleachers got me so excited because I know that there is No gain with no pain! I need to still tone up so the bleachers are the bomb! Beth made us run up & down the Miami Tropical park bleachers 4 times! I was drenched in sweat, by 830am we were back inside the shelter & Beth worked out every single muscle on our bodies, ouch! But I love her so ;) So my goal is to continue to get into shape with my TLS knowledge & tone up with Beth's booty camp. I'm also Pumped up because I got Beth to start a Saturday boot camp at the park so for those who cant make it to Beth's booty camp because you have a J-O-B that you have to be at during the week starting September Beth will be offering Saturday boot camps for $10. I strongly recommend you get your _$$ there to try her boot camp out, no pain no gain! Thanks Beth so excited about September ;)

Dont cheat yourself

This past Sunday I had a business overview meeting with my junior partner Olga. Olga is pretty cool I have been working with her more & more lately. She asked me if I would help her with a new prospect. She set up meeting with her potential business owner at one of our Starbucks offices in Miami. The meeting went great.  I mean the prospect didn’t say “ok where do I sign?” but she was very impressed with the quality of our products & how many different products & services we offer.  I like to look at someones face when they are evaluating & I did see that she was a bit overwhelmed with everything we offer but she said she was willing to talk to her hubby so we can meet again to see if she can handle such an incredible business opportunity. I know Olga will followup & follow through with her. After the meeting Olga & I came back to my house & talked about lots of stuff, like life & of course the business. Then Olga says “wow there is still so much I still Have to do”. I looked at Olga & said “yes you are right. No matter how much time has passed there is still allot We still haven’t done". Time has passed but what did you do in that time?? That’s what we need to evaluate productivity not just time. Olga like allot of us has had challenges. She has a husband 3 kids & a full time 45 year plan aka J-O-B. Just a few weeks ago something happened in her business that really pissed her off. She texted me “I am soooo pissed I quit”! OMG I couldn’t believe she send me that! She really sent that to the wrong person! If you are going to quit just do it, but never text me or even call me that you are doing it. If that’s what you are going to do then do it yourself, that’s my attitude. I didn’t answer her but 2 days later she texted me again “Hey I was just pissed that day I'm not going to quit I have put too much Time to quit now! I texted her back with a smile “Im glad u came 2 ur senses sometimes S_it happens but u need to move on. Don't get stuck on the Dot!
How can you come this far & cheat yourself? How can you get mad over a stupid thing that was your fault anyway & quit your dreams or purpose? I have said this before & I will say it again. If you quit you are only hurting yourself! Stuff will always happen it’s the law of the universe! But you have to take it as lessons. Don’t say you did everything when you know you didn’t!
I love to apply the don’t cheat yourself to my boot camp. My trainer writes out a workout & we have a certain time to do it. In the beginning I wasn’t doing all the reps because I was still breaking in. But I noticed that when I pushed myself more my body felt stronger, tighter & I was able to do more with my workout. If I don’t do the workout that I pay to do the only one losing is me! Yes me duh, I still gotta pay for the class weather I show up or not or weather I do it or not. So why would I cheat myself & not do my best to get the best results? It’s the same with the business. Any business or any dream worth having weather it’s a tight sexy body, a residual income business, becoming a superstar or whatever, if its worth having you will HAVE to get out of your comfort zone. So by hiding & pretending you did your workout it is not going to help you, it will hurt you. Cheating yourself saying you did your best when leaders are telling you daily what you need to do to be successful & You haven’t done it is really Cheating yourself! Go back to your business plan & read it! Have you seriously done even 20% of it? I know I still havent done all of it so I know for sure there are others who dont even know this business came with a business plan! For real some still have it in a corner in their home collecting dust!
